Adieu.

So, sorry, all the projects and procrastination and laziness made me not blog (tumblr not included) for quite a while, not to mention that my blog update is overdue by almost a month. Anyway, now I can say goodbye to all those projects, because, SCHOOL IS OVER!

I have 2 reactions for this. The first is :D because of no more work, but that only fills 4% of my reaction, the rest is D''''''''': because I'm gonna miss all my friends, not to mention that some are moving. It annoys me more that usually the people who are moving are the ones I'd rather play with, leaving the ones I'd rather not play with here. Though some of my good friends are still here. Anyway, this year, actually, not only this year, but the entire grade 67 has been, so far, the 2 most memorable period of my life. But we have to move on. Eventually change will happen. So, as much as I hate to say it, goodbye 67, hello 89. I just hope it will be just as good as 67 and just as fun too.

Sunday 8 May 2011

Ce Soir-La

It's Monday morning, really early in the morning. I'm skyping with my friends, Dicky and Kei. Well, since we're not doing anything productive, I decided to update my blog. Anyway, I decided to update my Eurovision 2011 votes too.

Good Evening Düsseldorf. Here are the results of the Indonesian jury.

1 point goes to Germany
2 points go to Turkey
Macedonia, 3 points.
Estonia, 4 points.
5 points are for Iceland
6 points go to Finland
7 points to Switzerland
Our 8 points go to Belgium
10 points go to Italy
And finally, our 12 points are for Serbia!

Other good entries:
Sweden
Ireland
Portugal (yes, Portugal)
Israel
Armenia

That's it for now.

Update.

This update is due about a month, sorry, but I was busy, see the next blogpost.

Anyway, the winner was Azerbaijan, "Running Scared" by Ell & Nikki with 221 points. 2nd place was Italy with 189 points and 3rd was Sweden with 185 points.

My votes for the first semifinal:

1 point goes to Iceland.
2 points go to Hungary.
3 points will be given to Russia.
We will give our 4 points to Georgia.
Our 5 points go to Finland.
6 to Armenia.
7 to Croatia.
8 points will be received by Turkey.
10 points are awarded to Switzerland.
And finally, 12 points go to Serbia!

Note that these might alter from the original voting above due to the fact that this was made much later than the original. 7 out of the 10 countries mentioned above made it. Those who didn't were Croatia, Armenia, and Turkey.

Now for the 2nd SemiFinal votes:

1 point is for Ireland.
2 points are for Austria.
Ukraine, 3 points.
4 points for Romania.
5 to Israel.
6 points are awarded to Bulgaria.
7 are for Belarus.
8 points will be received by Macedonia.
10 points to Estonia.
And finally, my 12 points go to Belgium!

5 countries from the above made it to the final. Either Europe's taste of music is bad or the other good songs I like didn't make it here.

And the final voting.

*votes are shown*
12 Serbia
10 Italy
8 Switzerland
7 Estonia
6 Germany
5 Spain
4 Finland
3 France
2 Romania
1 The United Kingdom

And those are my votes. Thank you.

Comment on this year's Eurovision:
IT WAS DEFINITELY BETTER! Days are passing, and one day I decided to check out the winning songs in reverse chronological order. I have to say, WELL DONE DÜSSELDORF!!! The real question now is whether Azerbaijan will be able to host Eurovision in their capital Baku. Btw, compared to the previous years, the quality of the songs, the stage, the awesomeness, they're all better. Also the videos are in HD. HD! And it was certainly fun too (I didn't believe Anke Engelke was an actual comedian and I thought that was part of their act, I thought it was Stefan Raab). Also, the camera, the effects, the intervals, everything was simply spectacular. Though, I have to confess, on the day of the 2nd Semifinals my laptop broke, so I couldn't watch it. Finally I found out you could watch the finals via TVE Internacional, which is Spanish television, over Spanish commentary. So I did, and, while waiting, I decided to take a "little rest" and fell asleep, so I watched the rerun. I was shocked to find out that Azerbaijan had won too, despite finding out about 12 hours after the show (I limited internet access for a whole day). Well, at least I got to watch it, and later I watched it again online. Overall, it was AWESOME! :D :D :D :D :D

Tuesday 5 April 2011

April, April

Ah. It's a nice cold night in April. Or at least it was. *goes to turn on ac again*

Ah. That's better. Anyway, as I was saying, it was a nice april night. We already had our term break. Now, we're back to school. Speaking of which, we already went through april fools.

What did I do for april fools?

To Everyone: Changed my b'day on facebook.
Family: Not much, aside from making killerjo my wallpaper.

My actual b'day last year fell on 3R, so not many people wished me a happy b'day. Hence, more people wished me a happy b'day this year. Believe it or not, I fooled 35 people. The joy of fooling people on april fools. Had april fools fell on a school day it would've been more fun.

The Eurovision Song Contest 2011 is coming next month, on 10, 12, and 14 may. I think. *checks wikipedia* Oh yes. That's right.

Anyway, since all the nations had picked their songs, I decided to set my 'votes'.

But before that, a quote:

There are only three things certain in life: Death, Taxes, and Greece and Cyprus exchanging maximum votes - Unknown

Anyway, here are my votes.

Armenia, 1 point.
Lithuania, 2 points.
Macedonia, 3 points.
Estonia, 4 points.
Germany, 5 points.
Finland, 6 points.
Serbia, 7 points.
Italy, 8 points.
Belgium, 10 points.
And finally, Turkey, 12 points!

Yup. A few countries are returning to that annual european song contest this year, they are Austria, Italy, San Marino, and Hungary, leaving only Andorra, the Czech Republic, Monaco, Montenegro, Morocco, and Luxembourg not returning, in addition to Liechtenstein and the Vatican which are yet to debut. Add Kazakhstan, Libya, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, and the Palestine to that list too.

Now my opinion about the countries I 'awarded' 3-12 points. I don't really remember the songs that I awarded 1 and 2 points.

3 points. Macedonia: Rusinka - Vlatko Ilievski
It's kinda nice. It has that 'russian' theme ('Rusinka' means 'Russian girl') and also a touch of ekectric guitars. Cool.

4 points. Estonia: Rockefeller Street - Getter Jaani
Nica as well. The music is pretty good.

5 points. Germany: Taken by a Stranger - Lena
The winner shall defend her title this year. Hopefully she can. Based on the lyrics I think it's about a stranger who will take her chair. It's jazzy. But there's a more jazzy entry coming up. Also, it has that same 'touch' that was at last year's winning song, "Satellite", also sung by Lena (see first sentence).

6 points. Finland: Da Da Dam - Paradise Oskar
It turns out the lyrics are about a kid who wants to save the planet, but nobody listens to him. Nice lyrics. Nice guitar too. It turned out he sent the song for fun, but now he's gonna represent Finland at the Eurovision Song Contest.

7 points. Serbia: Čaroban - Nina
This would be popular if it was released in America in the 50s. I don't know what the lyrics are about, but it has a 'fun' style. Also 'happy'. Not your typical Eurovision Song Contest entry of the day.

8 points. Italy: Madness of Love - Raphael Gualazzi
Romantic. His piano skills. Awesome. Very jazzy. It would fit in perfectly in a pixar movie soundtrack. The saxophone (or was it a trumpet?) makes it better.

10 points. Belgium: With Love Baby - Witloof Bay
If you look closely, the group name is somehow similar to the song name. Anyway, this song was created ENTIRELY without any instruments, only, yes, ONLY the human voice. Lot's of beatboxing. It actually sounds as if there are instruments. The preview is divided into 2 parts, the first half is in black and white, but the second half is in color. I like the first half better because it gives that 'classy' feeling. The blonde girl's clothes seem awful in color. Anyway, very high-quality skill and effort needed for this song.

12 points. Turkey: Live It Up - Yüksek Sadakat
Very catchy. The preview is also humorous, at the beginning, it was supposed to be a classical music show watched by the elderly. Suddenly, the curtains open and reveal the band (Yüksek Sadakat is a band, at first I thought it was a person too, kinda like Bamses Venner). Then teens come in and dance. The elderly join. At the end the conductor was speechless (the orchestra members also played the song along with the band). Anyway, very, very catchy, great, amazing, and, personally, kinda like the jingle for "Fullo", a wafer cigar that is 'filled' or 'full' with chocolate (hence the name). The song is about living life. They sing that life is beautiful. It should deserve, at least, top 5.

Norway was also a fan favorite, but it's too Waka-Wakaish. Also, Portugal's song, although with a political message, was HORRIBLE.

0 POINTS TO PORTUGAL.

May the best song win.

Other than that, I found a web for making fuuuu comics. It's ragecomic.appspot.com and it's very addictive. But memebase bought it, and it only sends comics to memebase.

Also, here's the evolution of the word "Okay" in texts:
Okay
kay
ok
k
potassium

Why potassium? It's chemical letter is K.

Anyway, that is the April update so far. This blog post will be long. I'll update on the notable stuff about april.

See you later.

Hi. I'm back. Anyway, there are more events this April.

First of all, today was Kartini day (that's when you combine car-free day with a martini haha lql jk). There wasn't much Kartini spirit (otherwise known as female power) in it though. Tomorrow (or today, I'm blogging at 1 in the morning) is Friday, which is also Earth Day and Easter. It's Easter? Or is it Good Friday?

Aside from that, I'm making a movie on this year, I feel that it's memorable and, besides, I've clips of class this year and I don't want to make it useless.
BUT PLEASE, PLEASE DON'T TELL ANYBODY. IT'S ENOUGH FOR 7 PEOPLE TO KNOW. I WANNA KEEP IT A SECRET UNTIL IT'S OFFICIAL TRAILER IS RELEASED. PLEASE.

Thank You.

Anyway, on the 28th of April is Saddam Hussein's birthday. It's also Salazar's b'day. Yes, Antonio de Oliveira Salazar. And it coincides with my friend Stella's b'day. It's awkward because the firs 2 people were dictators. Stella isn't. She's the center of the party. That's merely the same, but in a different way.

Well, I've nothing to say. Actually, I do. I uploaded my first Tumblr gif. I hope it works when I upload it here.

Test:

Ok. What else do I have to say? Not much. However I am excited for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest 2011 next month. We'll see who the winner is.

Sol Och Vår

I haven't blogged in quite a while.

There was so many homework to do. And then I had to do filing. That's when your works go into your folder (for records) and you keep them. We do that at the end of each term. Then, earlier today, I had my SLC (and an oreo-vanilla milkshake). That's where you present to your parents about what you've did in the past term. This term, everybody had to make a powerpoint. I stayed up last night doing the final task. Now I'm free, and that means more time to blog! Yeah! Woohoo!

I...don't really...have...much to...say, so...well...bye.

Friday 11 March 2011

Die Ganze Welt Braucht Liebe.

So, today was book celebration. We did a drama play. At first, I was kinda sad coz i didn't get anything to do. But later, seeing the efforts of everyone else, I knew we would be a success. This play was of the book (not movie) How To Train Your Dragon. There were 2 plays; one by 67ABC, that's us, and 67XYZ. At first I thought that 67XYZ's would be better than ours. But, it turned out to be wrong. This morning, I went to school as usual. When I came, the 67XYZs were just walkin' around, waiting for the play. And us? We were doing make up, preparing our costumes, face painting, etc. She brought this, He brought that. It was a very busy situation. Busier than IMW where we performed Jain and Bhrata. I'll tell you about that in another post. It turned out ours was better, without a combination of dubbing and bad acting-with-lipsynching.
BUT THAT WASN'T WHAT I POSTED FOR.

I came home. I checked my twitter as usual (@ajitirj, I accept and followback if u know me) But there was something odd. Timelinenya tuh agak2 aneh, katanya ada gempa di jepang, trs tsunami. So I decided to check wikipedia. It turns out there was an earthquake in Yunnan, China. A few refreshes later, baru deh, ada tulisan gempa di jepang. Ok...so, in the meanwhile I'm viewing aljazeera live on youtube. It's been on for 4 hours. Yeah. I just followed 2 other peoples blogs. Earlier I was busy tumblr-ing.

The earthquake and Japan. It's kinda scary, especially with everything else happening. Libya. Yemen. Mexico. Afghanistan. Japan. Indonesia. Anyway, I should get ready to sleep. I'll edit this post in the morning.

Good Night!

*12 hours later*

Hey!

Urgh. U know I don't really hate Justin Bieber. I hate it when his so-called 'beliebers' overreact. Like this:

Yes. I mean, Justin Bieber's just a normal human. He's just like everyone else. Urgh. Some hate him because of his voice, some because he's ugly, but I don't really hate him. It's the beliebers.

His songs are actually kinda good.

BUT STILL, EUROVISION SONGS ARE THE BEST!!!

Anyway, back to topic.

We have to do something for these tsunami victims. Esp Japan. I mean, Japan is like the center of technology. The international center of technology.

They've invented many things we've used and liked. Sushi. Doraemon. Liquid that solidifies with sound. Shabu-shabu. Chicken Katsu. Hi-tech stuff. New concept and ideas. Takoyaki. Hey, speaking of which, on Friday, the day of the disaster, I had bought takoyaki at the school bazaar that happens once in a while. Yes. And that was only an hour after the earthquake. I'm in the mood for Sushi now.

Anyway, here's what u can do for Japan on the internet:

Facebook: Nothing.
Twitter: Tweet about japan. Add #prayforjapan to those tweets. RT japan-related tweets.
Tumblr: Reblog japan and tsunami-related posts. Also, reblog if they will donate with each reblog. If someone reblogs that from you re-reblog it again. And again. And again.
Amazon: Donate.
Google: Search for missing people and donate info about missing people.
Real Life: Pray, contribute, donate. Especially pray.

Oh, and Satoshi Tajiri is alive. That's right, A-LIVE. Speaking of which, I wonder how the sales of Pokemon products has changed since the earthquake.

The words 'tsunami warning' 'this person is alive/dead' 'alert' and etc are scaring me.

I have the urge to go to Japan PIM tomorrow. For many reasons, esp that I wanna buy sushi. Perhaps we'll go watch a movie. Wait, no. Cinema 21 (not the MPA) allegedly blocked all foreign movies from screening in Indonesia. Luckily there's Blitzmegaplex, but that's good only for the upper-middle-class living in Jakarta-Bandung.

I don't know what else to say.
Stay tuned for updates.

Good Night!

Monday 7 March 2011

Diese Welt.

I'm getting views from around the world. America, Russia, the UK, Indonesia, it's usual. But, the UAE and China? What are you doing here? Maybe you could tell me about yourself so I could know.

Apparently this blog is a mis-link from http://katiedid.squarespace.com/contributor/5490288

So, if you though this would be a Eurovision blog or something else, you may go now. I don't like telling my personal life to complete strangers. Sorry.

Wow, do I view my blog that often?

Beisdes, I only told Megan and Rizky (see previous posts) about this blog.

Euro-Vision

So, remember how I told you that I'm a Eurovision fan? Well, I like the songs from there. It's kinda nice. And to think that almost everything in modern music is connected to it. Lady Gaga's songwriter has written a song for Russia for Eurovision 2011. Both Celine Dion and ABBA's fame is Eurovision-related. 2 Eurovision artists were Indonesian. Argh.

So, how did this all start? Nanti aja deh.

I prefer the older songs, like around 1963-1982. On a bigger and much detail scale, 1956-1971, 1976, 1980-1982. Yeah.

All of my posts (except the first one) are named after a Eurovision Song. And, The blog is named after the first line to Dana's ALl Kinds of Everything. The first post is named after the blog.

This blog will receive an update.

Parlez-vous français?

So, let me tell you something. Ususally, if I tell it on facebook, it's normal. If I tell it in person, I don't tell everyone. If I tell it on twitter, it's exclusive. But the rarest information I will tell is on my blog.

So, have you heard of that person who can do many accents? Here's the vid:

Anyway, to me, learning many accents are kinda easy. I can actually do many accents. That's the secret. I don't tell everyone. Usually I tell it in person only after someone has asked. Someday I wish to tell this secret of mine to everyone. I that way. Okay, if I can't tell in that accent, there are many ways to do it. Sing it. Do it in a drama. In a poetry. Ya pokoknya gitudeh. That also means I can do good in talking languages. But, I don't know that much. I can also read Russian, but I kinda forgot some. I can do many European accents.

All my accents:
  • English, default
  • Bahasa Indonesia, default
  • French, my second favorite
  • Dutch, good to talk with
  • German, my favorite
  • Swedish and Norwegian are the same
  • Danish
  • Finnish, fun to talk with
  • Italian, I guess
  • British is kinda hard
  • etc.
Since I don't usually speak in other accents, it makes me kinda strange to talk in that accent. And it's 11:21 pm (when I was typing this sentence). I usually sleep at 1, but I wanna sleep "earlier" today. Besides, tomorrow I have that daily morning exercise.

I could help, just in case you wanna learn a language. First, learn the special characters and how to pronounce them. Like ø, ü, ö, æ, å, etc. If you wanna learn swedish/norwegian/danish, I'll give you a clue: Ø exists in Danish, but not Swedish. In Swedish, it's replacement letter is Ö, but pronounced the same way. Also, if it's Æ in Danish, it's Ä in Swedish. Å is the same. Also, in Portuguese. Ã is pronounced like maman or jean. Ñ, for spanish, like, let's say, Anya (sorry, anya). I like to put it this way for As. Å is like Ooooh, gitu. Or, say A as in Ah but with you lips rounded. Ã is like Aaaaawww.... And Ä is like the Aaaahhh when your tongue is (illiterately) on fire. I have more tips. Ç is pronounces "S".

And one of the most helpful tips:

"Listen to songs in that certain accent, it'll help, but you have to try and imitate that accent, or try singing the song."

Since the blog has to match it's title (in my blog, yes) or at least, in someway related, I guess I'll go make another blog now.

Oh, and one more thing:

I HATE TO BRAG.

Friday 4 March 2011

Brez Besed.

So, during DEAR (drop everything and read) time we were supposed to write the summary of a book we've been reading. Joseph didn't. Instead, he wrote a summary about a book. As far as I remember, the following is in the summary:

"This is a book. The book is about a book. The name of the book is Book. Inside the book is a book. The book was given by Jared. The author of the book is a book. The illustrator is also a book. The book was written inside a book. The author of the book went to Book High in Jakabook. The book doesn't have a booger. This is a book. The book is a book."

Now, let me introduce you to the world around me. Or, the other side of my world that most people know (I have introduced you to the dark side first). Walking in the Streets in the Rain

So, yes, I finally did my community work, seru! The field trip was even more better with mushrooms. Eh, I'll be back, I wanna try that mushroom pudding.

OH NO, WHERE IS IT? D:

Oh, there it is.

Ah, yum. Anyway, we went to this school and had to present a presentation. Then we went to the mosque just a few decameters away and we had team building (i think). Pokoknya seru. The bus was even better. The next day we had a field trip to this mushroom cultivation center. Since we were the second )and final) group, we didn't get to taste the sate and kripik. Udah abis, laku semua. Tp yg jelas I bought what's left of the mushroom. That's 1/4 kg of oyster mushrooms, payed in cash. The change was 15000 and 2 1000 puddings. Though they were mushroom, ternyata enak. WAIT, didn't I tell u already?

Oh well, anyway, tommorow we will cook the mushrooms (after washing it). Yeay!

Ok. Back to topic. Jadi, kita tuh nginep di villa namanya Jambuluwuk. Bagus deh. There's practically everything u need. We slept at the Sumatra section. Cowok2 yg lain tuh, yg gitu2, mereka tuh main bola klo sempet. Makan enak. Tidur di double-bed. Main seru. TV berbayar. It was so fun, I didn't want to go home :(

Well, anyway, what has happened has happened.

If We Give A Little

Yes, I know, I haven't introduced you to my world yet. Or have I? I don't really remember. Anyway, tomorrow, there will be this event called community work (where we all somehow contribute to some people (usually a school) that's in need of help). Yeaah. I should be sleeping by now. Gue udah niat tidur cepet. I'm gonna procrastinate, I guess. Ahh, yaudah sih. Anyway, where was I? Oh yeah. Well, this year, they decided to join it with the fieldtrip. Alhasil NGINEP!
